Manageability is more a function of what one can do on the box beyond simply viewing status and statistics. A dumb switch won&#039;t allow the user to set up port mirroring for example. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I guess the proper determination of whether this makes sense or not is &quot;are people buying it?&quot;</description>
